Ok, so i was reading this HP and the Deathly Hallows interview with Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson and Daniel said something about the movie that really doesn't make any sense at all! The question was: Daniel, what was the hardest scene for you?
Daniel: "To be honest, a lot of scenes I've completely forgotten about because you film something for 18 months, and if there's something in the trailer from the 1st month of filming, it's like, "Oh my God. I'd totally forgotten about the scene." I suppose getting beaten up by Ralph Fiennes [who plays Voldemort] in the 2nd part was physically quite demanding. What I love about that scene is that it's the moment that I've been wanting to happen for years. I've always wanted a moment when the magic is not enough and he just tries to kill Harry physically by beating him up. So that was a challenging scene, but I mean, there was a lot of physically challenging stuff in the film, but I love that...."
I just finished reading the 7th HP and I'm pretty darn positive there is not a part in the book where Voldemort tries to PHYSICALLY ASSAULT Harry Potter! Please let me know what you think and if there actually is a physical fight in the book that I'm forgetting! Thanks! :D
Here's the link to the interview if you want it:http://blog.scholastic.com/ink_splot_26/2010/10/emma-and-daniel-talk-deathly-hallows.htmlHARRY POTTER QUESTION! (Deathly Hallows)?
Nope I just finished reading the book for the second time (isn't it amazing?!?!) and you didn't miss anything, Voldemort and Harry never physically fight. I suppose they just decided to add them fighting for more intesnity or whatever.
No there is no part where he physically tries to beat up harry. He always relies on magic because everything non-magical disgusts him. If they put a fist fight between harry and voldemort in the movie that is going to ruin it... why can't directors just follow the books?HARRY POTTER QUESTION! (Deathly Hallows)?
They always change up the movies a little bit, because otherwise...everyone whose read the books would know exactly what to expect...and where's the fun in that?
There is a part in DH, when Voldemort physically abuses Harry's body after Voldemort thinks he's killed Harry...but Harry is only pretending to be dead. That may be what Dan is referring to.
i don't remember fisticuffs either.but the films are never very true to the books anyway.HARRY POTTER QUESTION! (Deathly Hallows)?
Absolutely not, guess they've decided to take some artistic license with the movie
You didn't see that part!?!? Voldemort literally beats him unconscious, then rapes him!
