Ok so I was walking to school today and I see a car that looks like Bumblebee in Transformers?

I see the car and Im like it looks like bumblebee as soon as it passes me I turn around and the license plate says bumblebee I see helicopters in the air and I live in Waukegan Illinois. I know there shooting the transformers 3 movie in Chicago these days so can it be possible that I just saw the car which Megan Fox and shia lebeof were in the movie?Ok so I was walking to school today and I see a car that looks like Bumblebee in Transformers?Very possible, except they are using the 2011 version of the camero in this upcoming movie. Check dates for filming should say somewhere on yahoo or google when they are filming in your neck of the woods.

There are two live action movies, the one coming to theaters this summer is the second. I personally hated the cartoon movies but love the live action ones. The plots are decent enough (killer robots want to take over the world, good robots save the world) and when the plot gets a little thin or boring then you have Shia to look at %26lt;3 I would definately give it a shot. You should understand it, there might be some minor things you don;t get from not having seen the last one, but you should be alright. Angels and Demons was a very good movie if you like action and have an appreciation for history and art. It incorporates a lot of history and theory into the movie that will keep it going if you are into that kind of thing. Drag me to Hell was traditional Sam Rami, old school horror that will make you laugh. You can't expect to leave the movie affraid, you won't be. A lot of people hate Rami's style, but I loved that movie.

All three are definately worth seeing.

I heard it's ridiculous. There are even subtle criticisms of Obama in the movie. Supposedly, it's blatant.

Yeah I noticed all of those things in the movie. Like, they wouldn't say his actual name until later in the movie, but they would say things like the president said this and the president commanded that which kinda made it look like he was making bad decisions.

The racist criticisms mostly come from two robots who use a lot of slang, and constantly fight, and they just happened to sound black.

The fight scenes were ok, they just really gave me a headache. I can't imagine seeing the movie in IMAX :P

Overall though I was disappointed and I can understand the bad critiques of it.

There are only two female human characters in this film - one is the Mom (a very good comic performance from Julie White) and the other is the girlfriend (defined almost entirely by her sex appeal, regardless of her skills as a mechanic). These are their roles and they are given no real chance to expand or develop on them - this would be fine if there were other realistic yet strong roles for women in the story. But the story does not enable this and even if it did, the women would have to conform to Hollywood's 'beauty' standards. It is pretty much unacceptable for women to be not conventionally attractive in this kind of story/film and have any significance at all. Guys even talk about Sam's Mom as a MILF, predictably.

The other girls we see are the stereotypical attractive college girls in Sam's huge Astronomy 101 class and the party. It just doesn't seem realistic and giant robots aside, believability is their aim.

But most big blockbusters suffer from the same problem, and no doubt the producer/writer area of this genre's industry are male-dominated so until that changes it will continue.

If you're deciding whether to get the deluxe class Jolt or Sideswipe then I'd suggest you get Sideswipe as he looks way cooler in both robot and alternate modes. However, if you're collecting them then just get the two as Jolt is also decent enough in robot mode and awesome in his alternate mode.

Human alliance bumblebee is a lot better than the deluxe one because firstly, HA Bumblebee is a lot bigger than DC Bumblebee as it is the size of a voyager class figure. Secondly, the transformation and accuracy of HA BB is way better and complicated than DC BB. Thirdly, with Sam Witwicky in the package you can let him ride in HA BB unlike with the deluxe class. However, if you're really meticulous about the scale of this TF figure in conjunction with your other TF figures then I would suggest getting the deluxe because Human Alliance BB is way off-scale.

Although if you've got the extra money and is not scared of blowing all of them then just get them all.

What are some of the best transformers rotf toys?

So far i only have Sideways, Sideswipe, The Fallen, and Mixmaster. And i like all of them, but what are some of the really good ones out there that are actually worth the price?What are some of the best transformers rotf toys?I would say Rampage or the Twins (Skids and Mudflap). I'd recommend all of them, actually. The only exceptions are probably Ravage and Dead End because ravage is horribly out of scale and his transformation is not really anything, but if you don't care about those things, go for it. Dead End is just a redeco of Sideways.

If you want to get the twins, you can get them separate in deluxe class or in a single pack of the ice cream truck version. The ice cream truck splits in two and forms both robots, but they're smaller.

Another good buy is probably Demolishor or Chromia. Though Demolishor is out of scale (I've given up on scale), the robot form is cool and the transformation is more complicated than it looks.

Chromia is a cool looking robot, too. The robot form is also unicycle like but it has scale problems too.

If you want rare ones, they're probably Stratosphere and Mixmaster and the Fallen (which you have). Stratosphere looks slightly simpler than other voyagers. And if you look at the Mini Prime figure, you can imagine the scale.

Long Haul is another cool one. His vehicle mode is really big. You can also get Grindor if you want, though if you already have the Blackout figure, it's not that interesting.

I think I've basically named all the ones I could think of, but my best recommendation is the Twins or Long Haul.What are some of the best transformers rotf toys?

I agree with YangYang. Transformers has a lot more action, but pokemon is more about strategy. Though they both have a storyline, pokemon's is more flexible. The game will also take you longer to fully beat, because even after the main storyline is completed, there are still more missions that you have to accomplish. Personally I think pokemon platinum is better, but transformers isn't a bad game either. See, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen has a LOT more action than Pokemon Platinum (my brother has it). You have to use your wits to battle enemies and accomplish missions. But Pokemon Platinum has an exciting plot as well and unlike in the first Transformers Game, you don't die. You also get to make decisions in Pokemon as well, so it has a more flexible story based on where you want to take it.

So if your more into violence and explosions, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, is the game for you. If you like to mess around in destiny and be the top at things, Pokemon Platinum is yours.

Hello, I am just wondering whether or not it is safe to use a wall transformer (9v, 300mA) to power breadboard circuits. What is the limit of amps as well as current that can be safely passed through a normal breadboard?

Also, is this a safe amount to be working with?Is it safe to use wall transformers for a breadboard power source?I use "wall-warts" all the time in breadboard projects. Make sure you put a voltage regulator circuit inline because the voltages that come out are usually noisy and higher than you want. For example, I have a 120V@60Hz to 12VDC wall transformer that is actually 15.3VDC RMS and when put to an oscilloscope, the voltage ranges from 13-16V. Since I usually bring it down to 3.3V or 5V with a regulator and filter anyway, that doesn't matter.Is it safe to use wall transformers for a breadboard power source?9 Volts AC is a safe voltage to work with. You wouldn't have any safety issues with voltage until you were above 40-50 Volts. Make sure you can't make contact with the wires on the 120 Volt side.

Couldn't find any info on what the Amp rating of a breadboard is. The nominal wire size of the holes in the breadboard is 22 AWG, the ampacity of which is 5 Amps, so you very definitely wouldn't want to exceed that. I'd stay below 1 Amp for safety. Most electronic circuits wouldn't have currents this high anyhow unless you're constructing a high power amplifier or suchlike.Is it safe to use wall transformers for a breadboard power source?Completely safe. Don't worry about it.

I'm not sure what you mean by a wall transformer so I will not attempt to answer that, however the breadboard sets no constraints on current as it is an insulator. You might ask what is a safe voltage for breadboard but that is irrelevant as it will be able to withstand much higher voltages that you can!

If you keep to 20 Volts you will have nothing to worry about. The worst you will see are some sparks if you short out a large capacitor.

If a power surge from a house shot back towards a transformer, would it ground the charge or bypass the transformer and harm the surrounding wires?Do electrical transformers protect the surrounding wires from power surges?Actually Davies, a little of both would occur. To understand this you need to understand how a transformer works. Take one that operates a small model train set for example. One end plugs into an outlet where it receives 120 volts AC. The wire from the outlet goes inside the transformer case and wraps around a piece of iron called a core. It might wrap around it 10,000 times. Then another wire is wrapped around the same core, but maybe only 1,000 times. In this case, the second wire would receive 1/10th the voltage of the first, so the output would be 12 volts AC. If the train set needed DC power, it would be run through something called a rectifier after going through the transformer.

The important thing to remember is the wires running from the outlet do not ever come in contact with the wires going to the train tracks. Transformers only work with AC power, each time the electricity cycles (60 times per second in the US.), a magnetic field is formed around the core by the first wire. The field is then picked up by the second wire and fed out to the train. Surges, such as from lightning, or short circuits in some wiring, are almost always DC, the powe surges dramatically in one direction for a microsecond. Since the transformer isn't designed to transmit DC power across the core, and the two wire wraps are not physically connected, the transformer acts as a resistor and traps most of the surge on the incoming side. The only exception to this is if a surge is large enough, it can heat up the wire wraps around the coil and melt some of the insulation, allowing a physical connection to occur between the two coils. In this case, the transformer is usually destroyed, but at least some of the surge energy is used up in destroying the transformer, so what travels out the other side is diminished to a large degree.

Most surge arrestors you buy for household use have a small coil inside, along with some capacitors and other devices to help absorb some of the surges that might come in from an electrical line, they are taking advantage of a transformers ability to do what it does. The ones that hang on the power pole near your home are no different, they are just larger and much much heavier. They are not designed specifically to absorb surges, but they still have an ability to do so just by their nature.

So to answer your question directly, if a surge did shoot back from a house to a transformer, what is most likely to be damaged is the transformer, or the wires leading from the house to it. The ones on the other side of the transformer would be partially protected. You might notice the wires on the other side of the transformer from your home are smaller than the ones leading to your house. This is because they run at a much higher voltage, and therefore carry less current. In my experience what damages these smaller higher voltage wires is trees, rodents and lightning. Wiring that gets damaged on the home side is generally caused by a wiring fault at the home or meter box. I've already seen some reviews of the new figures up on Youtube. Where was Barricade in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen?

Barricade was the decepticon police car in the first film. He didn't die in the theatrical release. There was a deleted scene where, when optimus was fight bonecrusher barricade jumped in and was killed by prime. But this never got filmed. It was only storyboarded. He didn't die. The police car than was used for his alt mode was scene on the tranformers 2 set but he wasn't in the film. Before the end of the first movie Starscream cuts his losses and leaves Megatron . The only able Decepticon he can find is Barricade who was under the overpass he was last seen in. Starscream tells him the battle is already lost and leaves him on Earth while he retreats to gather a new army.

In the prequel novel to Revenge of The Fallen 'The Veiled Threat' Barricade is last seen fighting Optimus while Ironhide and the (ugh) human characters deal with Starscream. Optimus sears concrete overhead with 'one of his advanced weapons' and buries Barricade, not meant to stop him, but delay him. No more is mentioned about him, he must still be buried under tons of rubble or he escaped and will reveal where he was in part 3Where was Barricade in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen?Well I think if he didn't get killed in the first film inthe city fight then he got killed in between transformers and transformers:revenge of the fallen cause in the begining optimus says that humans and autobots have been fighting side by side in the NEST team(I think that's the name) and they have killed 6 decepticons in different countries so I'm thinking he was one of the six ...
Yeah, I guess they never needed him to advance the plot or never came up with a way to explain his absence that would be worth it in the second movie. So of course there's the possibility it gets shown in the future, possibly for the third installment, if they can work him back in. It's fair game, with him never being shown dead.
