It is said in the movie that only a prime is able to kill a prime. It also says that optimus is the only living prime besides the fallen. So megatron can't be a prime. wtf transformers? In the film Transformers 2, if only a prime can kill a prime, then how was megatron able to kill optimus?Your question comes because you were misinformed. It was said that only a prime can defeat the fallen. Just because the fallen was a prime does not mean that that statement applies to all primes. The fallen was the most powerful of the primes, so it makes sense that only a prime could defeat him. Even Optimus needed a boost from that old Decepticon. In the film Transformers 2, if only a prime can kill a prime, then how was megatron able to kill optimus?Ok, Ok, you got it all wrong.
Only a prime can defeat The Fallen because The Fallen's power doesn't work on a prime, so primes can defeat the fallen easily. I thought the Fallen was a Prime and he is, but The Fallen does not follow the prime rules, The Fallen is the only Prime that has that power so anyone can defeat a prime but only a prime can defeat THE FALLEN!!!
Optimus is the only prime alive that is good. Plus the other primes were decepticons but didn't harm humans and their one rule was to never destroy a sun with the planet having life on it but the Fallen didn't follow that rule.
And Megatron did not destroy optimus alone. He destroyed Optimus with Starscream and Grindor whilst all the Autobots were hiding in the bushes seeing what will happen next..
And when Optimus came back, he was weak so he needed Jetfire's parts to defeat The Fallen.
I think that will answer your questions. In the film Transformers 2, if only a prime can kill a prime, then how was megatron able to kill optimus?i think the loop is that he's a descendant of a prime and not a true prime so that's the powers but also the vulnerability..In the film Transformers 2, if only a prime can kill a prime, then how was megatron able to kill optimus?
Maybe Mega tron is like a subprogram of the fallen, and he is kind of a prime. But srsly, you found a big hole in the story man.
