Why does Harry say "Let's finish this how we started; together,"?

And then pushes himself, along with Voldemort, off of a cliff in the Deathly Hallows Part 2 trailer?

I've read it 3 times and I really do not think that has anything to do with the story. Why does Harry say "Let's finish this how we started; together,"?
Voldemort was the one who made Harry who he is today. He gave him the scar and abilities he has when he was just a baby. So since Voldemort made him that way, they've been tied together for as long as Harry has been alive. Thus, they have struggled together since the beginning and will now end it together. I think it was thrown in to make more or a dramatic affect. Why does Harry say "Let's finish this how we started; together,"?
Yeah that wasn't in the book. It would have been put in by the writers and directors of the movie.

The Harry Potter movie series are only based on the books they aren't keeping to them by the nail. Should have noticed that in the other movies. Why does Harry say "Let's finish this how we started; together,"?
