ok so i know that a lot of you people have been hearing that twilight's saga: eclipse has broken another record since it was released last week.

im hoping so! im dieing for November to arrive! im just hoping my parents will let me go to the midnight premiere!

Harry Potter is STILL the Biggest and highest grossing Film series EVER!



So the quetion is will Twilight beat Potter and the answer is probably no.



only because Twilight targets mainly young adults like 12 year olds. Potter reaches out to most people of all ages.



I think Hallows will blow the box office up honestly without my opinion being biest. its greatly anticipated for a little over 10 years now weve all waited for the final instalments of the series. and Hallows is proving to gain intrest in non Potter fans so its going to be huge!Will harry potter beat twilight's record???????
It will be close. Harry has had longer to build a fan base and these are the final two. It will be close. I just hope the movie is better than the book. It was somewhat dangling and didn't seem as put together as the others; like JK Rowling just threw something together and hoped it would make sense. I was disappointed. I mean its obvious that the Twilight Saga has such a big fanbase and like you said it broke another record since its released. But Deathly Hallows is the last book of the Harry Potter series and it's also the last 2 movies of the series. So a lot of people who have been waiting in lines to get the latest books, who have been watching the movies when it came out, and the people who have been with HP til the end will see the last 2 movies for sure. Well hopefully.



I think there's a very great chance that it can beat Twilight. The fans of HP are more broad. Children. Teens, Adults, Seniors, etc. For some, they grew up reading Harry Potter and watching the movies so more people will probably see it and heck if I'm a fan, I wouldn't miss it for the world. I'll even watch it several times! I like the Twilight Saga but of course I prefer Harry Potter.
