I just read a few reviews for Dark of the Moon and a lot of the sites are giving it a 3/5. But they gave the same score if not lower for it's previous movies. My point is that I have honestly never met a person who did not fall in love with the movies. Do you think that these movies deserve better scores than they are given? Why does the Transformers movies always get such bad reviews? They are generally hated because there is little to no character development. That does seem impossible in a film about robots, but think about it-it's just a mindless action film that wants your money. I doubt this was created to win awards! I'm only going to see it as it was filmed with the Avatar 3D cameras, whereas most 3D nowadays is post-converted. Michael Bay needs to take a leaf out of Chris Nolan's book on how to make a thoughtful, epic actioner.af out of Chris Nolan's book on how to make a thoughtful, epic actioner. Why does the Transformers movies always get such bad reviews?
Yeah. But the thing is, critics look for stuff like a good plot, character development, etc. in a movie. As awesome as Transformers was, it didn't really have any of that. But when I go to a movie I hope to be entertained. All of the other stuff comes second. A movie can have a good plot and good character development but if it's not entertaining I don't like it. I watched both of the Transformers movies in theaters and they were pretty entertaining. Why does the Transformers movies always get such bad reviews?People don't like the director, Michael Bay, for some reason. I say that the Transformres movies are mindless summer blockbuster popcorn flicks that you can just relax too and enjoy the awesome visuals. No deep thinking required. People are way too harsh on the franchise, in my opinion. I mean, why go see these movies if you KNOW you won't like them? If you want a pretentious art house flick, go get a Criterious Collection flick. Then again, 2 of Bay's movies ARE in that collection: Armageddon and The Rock. I personally loved the first one, and thought the second was okay. Haven't seen part 3. But yeah...like I said, people need to stop going to these blockbuster summer hits and expecting a deep thought provoking oscar caliber cinematic experience. It's way unrealistic. Noone's fault but the moviegoers'. :DWhy does the Transformers movies always get such bad reviews?
Usually for reviewers, if a movie just is all about action/special effects/cgi stuff, the views find it amazing, yet the critics...not so much.
Just like when a movie is for children, they critics hate it, but it's meant for KIDS! It's not going to have great jokes, awesome actors, etc!Why does the Transformers movies always get such bad reviews?Movie critics do a bad job of reflecting the tastes of mainstream America. A 3 / 5 for a summer blockbuster is a pretty good score and probably means the movie rocked. I say that because critics HATE rehashed movie plots %26amp; sequels. Why does the Transformers movies always get such bad reviews?
3/5? You must be reading the wrong reviews..cause it rocked..
I saw the first one and it eats s**t.
