Walmart And Toys-R-Us has/have them but they are more fit for a lower age group than me.Where is a decent place to buy Transformers toys that actually convert and are pretty good quality? If you are looking for something that's intended for an adult collector (and you have the money), you might be interested in the Masterpiece series. They can be found at a number of online retailers and eBay. Attached is a link to a retailer that sells them. This isn't an endorsement of them in particular, but they have a pretty good list of the whole series and it's in English.Where is a decent place to buy Transformers toys that actually convert and are pretty good quality?Collectors of all ages buy the Walmart lines. They also buy the ones aimed at collectors particularly, such as the Masterpiece, Alternators/Binaltech, and Classics and Universe lines.
You can get cheaper Transformers on eBay and fan forums, if you don't collect the packaging (some people do).
Additionally, Transformers kitbashing artists sometimes eBay their final products, which can be world-class creations, for anywhere from thirty dollars to three thousand.
If you're deep into the fandom, check out FansProject, who make top-quality transforming accessories for official Transformers toys.
If you want a custom Transformer created for you, there are several fans who can and will do so for prices ranging from ten dollars to a thousand, depending on how fancy you want it to get.
There are transforming toys from companies other than Hasbro, Takara and Tomy, but generally they're not considered to be as of high a quality. Check them out anyway; there's the occasional gem. The Japanese stuff, in particular, tends to cater more for the adult fan.
